To be "born-again" is very easy and simple, although it may not appear so. The only thing you need to do is believe in your heart and mind that Jesus is whom He says He is. That He is the Son of God of the Holy Bible as expressed in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who came to forgive you of all your past and present failures (what the Bible calls sin). As you simply believe that He came to do this in your behalf and receive His forgiveness (by asking, which we call prayer in Christian jargon), He will come into you and regenerate you into a "new creation" which is the process we call being "born-again". By so doing, you will be totally accepted and loved by the one and only God of this universe, who receives you into His family called the body of Christ.
It is my sincere hope that the information contained in this website has provided sufficient evidence and proof to convince you that Jesus is all that He says He is. I do believe that having a grounding in the proof for Jesus is a tremendous tool for having you come to that place of asking Him into your heart, mind and soul. By becoming "born-again" in Jesus, you are not only giving recognition of Jesus being Lord and Savior, but also allowing Him to become Lord of your life, which means that you also agree to follow Him in His commandments and statutes. Basically, in doing so you agree to become a follower or disciple of Him. Although most non-believers consider the constraints that God places upon their lives as "cramping their lifestyle", it is really meant to provide them freedom from an future life of bondage, addictions, torment and eventual death (both in the physical and spiritual). This matter of "sin" is what even Christians struggle with in living their lives out for Jesus. Paul knew this all too well and vividly expresses in the book of Romans. However, by being obedient to the urging and help from the Holy Spirit, we can have victory over sin and the temptations (from the Temptor, Satan, no less), who does all he can to have us succumb to his "lifestyle". But even if we fall, we can go to Jesus who will pick us up and is always willing to cleanse us of our impurities (sin again). He truly is faithful and true!
Understand that when you make a decision to receive Jesus, one of the first things that happens is that you accept and recognize Him as Savior. Many who call themselves Christians do so because they wish to avoid the consequences of eternal damnation. But this is only fire insurance at best. Really becoming "born -again" is establishing a loving relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, which are all embodied in Jesus. Remember, they are a triune composite of One. It is this recognition and acceptance of their totality that begins the process of being converted to that "new creation" found in Jesus Christ.
Also understand that beginning the life of being a "new creation" in Jesus Christ is a process. As you grow in your relationship, I believe you will be amazed and abundantly blessed at what Jesus has to share with you. He will give you a totally new outlook on life. Many will experience a "honey-moon" period, such I did. It will be a time of tremendous intimacy, revelation and education (from the Holy Spirit, who is the Teacher). You will be in awe as you come to the realization that Jesus TRULY did come to earth to die for you! You will be TRULY amazed that God has an incredible plan and purpose for your life as never before. Not only this, but you will be ever more amazed that heaven exists and will be our eventual home, forever! What a future!
Again, to receive Jesus is simple. Just a true heartfelt prayer is all it takes. And praying to God and His Son Jesus is not as difficult as it may seem, since praying really means talking to Him as you would to your earthly father, brother, sister or good friend in a sincere manner. Just ask in an earnest and heartfelt way. Immediately below is a prayer guide offered for you to use. Feel free to modify it in any way you wish,or use it as is. Remember, God (our heavenly Father), His Son and the Holy Spirit do not consider how religious sounding we can be, but honors the simple heartfelt words that you voice towards Him. Because He wants a relationship with you, forevermore.

A Prayer to Believe
1.) BELIEVE that there is one God, so powerful, that He created you and all that is in this world. That He resides in the kingdom of heaven and has given His Son power and authority over it and earth. “For God so loved the world, that He gave is only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Jesus should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
2.) REALIZE that we all commit sins and inequity. Ask Jesus to forgive you for them. Realize that we all sin (including Christians) but will be forgiven by the Lord Jesus if we mean it in our heart, by way of repentance. It is for this reason Jesus died on the cross for you and I.
3.) ASK Jesus to change your life if you know there is wrong (sin) in it. Do not believe that you are not “good” enough to receive the love of Jesus because of your sins and His power to help you overcome them. For Jesus said, “1 did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Mark 2:17
4.) RECEIVE the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Lord’s direct communion with us on earth. The Holy Spirit will reveal whom the Lord is. As Jesus said, “But an hour is coming (today) and now is (as Jesus spoke), when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit (Holy) and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshippers. John 4:23
5.) PRAY for receiving all that the Lord has in store for you. It is our communion with the Lord. And if you know not what to pray then..... “Pray, then, in this way; Our Father who art in heaven, Hollowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us of our debts (sins), as we also forgive our debtors (those who sin against us). And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Matthew 6:9-13
